About Deborah Bowen 

Deborah Bowen, inspired by her mother's mantra of 'Keep your hands busy', runs Studio 78 Glass from her property in Rosanna.  She is an active artist creating pieces for exhibition, commission and sale, along with teaching glass classes on a weekly basis and one off workshops.

Classes 

Deborah brings a vast skill set of glass techniques which she utilises in classes, and further, has had a long career as a professional teacher. Deborah's home studio is set among fruit trees and vegetable gardens with easy on street parking available.  Deborah's glass studio boasts three kilns with a good supply of moulds and stencils; spacious benches; various cold working equipment including grinder, glass saw, glass ring saw, wet belt sander and drill press; and is well lit with both heating and cooling.

Deborah creates a wide variety of bespoke wall and window panels for exhibitions, sales and as commissions.

Kiln formed glass original Gingerbread Houses, books, glass casting and other 3D pieces are created in Deborah's Studio.

With so many molds to choose from, Deborah has bowls, dishes, cheese platters and trinket bowls along with blown vases and lamps.

A great variety of earrings, pendants, including her signature Heart Pendant,
hair barrettes and scarf holders in many designs.

Every season and event needs a glass decoration!
